Wakwakurna Kids 2024

Next week the Wakwakurna students will be conducting their first class meetings. 

They will be responsible for setting an agenda, chairing the meeting, and taking minutes to record the ideas and thinking of their classmates.

One of the first jobs the Wakwakurna students will be responsible for is to put together our Modbury 'morning music' playlist. The students will be asking their peers for song suggestions and will bring these ideas back to the Wakwakurna committee. These songs will be added to a playlist and broadcast over the portable speakers in the mornings before school. 

We have loved seeing the students have a dance before the bell, and encourage you to ask your child if they have a favourite song to dance to and help them identify a few favourite songs. This will support them in having ideas ready for their first class meeting.
