Sustainability Convenor Wanted:   We need a parent volunteer to join us as Sustainability Convenor.  You will be working with Rebecca Smith and Brooke Danaher to support our green initiatives.  If you're passionate about sustainability, we'd love to have you on board!

Gardening Club Collaboration: We have had our very first Gardening Club, it was blooming with activity.   Gardening Club is open to students in year 1-6, every second Monday during lunchtime. Last week, we had an amazing collaboration with the Science Club to test soil quality and determine the best planting strategies.  Together, we identified optimal planting times and potential risk factors to ensure our garden thrives!

Green Team Update: Our new Green Team has hit the ground running with various sustainability efforts, including bin management, composting, recycling, and tidying up around the school.  Great work, Green Team.

Over the next few newsletters, we will introduce you to the members of our Green Team, what sustainability initiatives they are passionate about and why they wanted to join.  Stay tuned! 

Clean Up Australia & Gardiners Creek Cleanup:  While Clean Up Australia Day has passed, our commitment to keeping our environment clean continues. The Green Team will be cleaning up Gardiners Creek this Wednesday, aiming for a litter-free environment. Remember, every day is an opportunity to make a difference!
