Civics and Citizenship

In this inquiry unit, we want our students to be able to describe the structure of Australia’s government, explaining the roles of the three different levels of government and the process by which its participants are chosen. We want them to understand how laws are passed and enforced. We will explore the rights, responsibilities and shared responsibilities of Australian citizens and what Australian identity means for all of us.
