Diocesan Tennis Trials

On Tuesday, February 27th, the annual Diocesan Tennis Trials heated up the courts, with enthusiastic players from across our schools battling it out for the coveted championship title. We took on teams from Xavier High School in Albury, St Francis in Leeton, Marian Catholic College in Griffith and Mater Dei with some impressive tennis skills on display from our players.

The day was filled with nail-biting rallies, impressive displays of sportsmanship, and a true spirit of camaraderie. Students from all year levels showcased their skills, with both experienced players and newcomers to the court demonstrating their dedication and passion for the game.

Due to the Bolton Park Tennis Courts currently being renovated, the girls played at the Sunshine Ave courts and the boys at Sth Wagga. Albert Middleton, Will Scott, Robert Buik and Noah Delves made up our boys team who achieved an impressive 3rd overall. Mary Middleton, Charlotte Nuilia, Majella Day and Millie Moon were our female representatives and served up some outstanding tennis skills and exceptional sportsmanship.

Congratulations to all 8 players who represented the College superbly on such a hot day.
