FE	Luka Kovacic	Leadership	Congratulations to Luka for displaying Leadership in Foundation E. He has done an outstanding job at organising himself, listening and volunteering to complete extra jobs. Luka is an excellent role model to his peers as he is polite, friendly and listens wonderfully when sitting on the floor. He has a can-do mentality when it comes to learning tasks which creates a positive learning space in our classroom. Well done, Luka!
1D	Annabelle Moore	Kindness	During Wellbeing lessons, Annabelle has been a regular contributor to class discussions, offering insightful thoughts and opinions. She has shown kindness towards her peers and teacher and is a pleasure to have in 1D. Keep up the wonderful work Annabelle!
1N	Kai Bloomfield	Perseverance	Congratulations Kai for showing amazing persistence with all class tasks. When he has found something challenging, Kai shows a ‘can do’ attitude and has not give up. Well done Kai! We are so proud of you.
1S	Grace Day	A Love of Learning	Congratulations Grace for being awarded the ‘Student of the Week’ award this week. She consistently applies herself in class and completes everything with a can-do attitude. Grace is a positive role model in 1S, and I can’t wait to see what she achieves this year!
2C	Conor Henchey	A love of Learning	Congratulations Conor for consistently coming to school each day ready to learn! As you enter the classroom you’re straight into your tub to see what work you can complete. During class time it is wonderful to see your hand shoot up eagerly to answer any questions. You complete your work to a very high standard and are always looking for an extra challenge. Keep shining bright, Conor :)
2P	Georgia Cox	A love of Learning	Georgia continually models outstanding work across all subjects. She applies incredible effort, extending herself to produce neat and considered work. Her Reading Group responses are a credit to her focus and diligence. Well done, Georgia.
3B	Jemima Fisher	Love of Learning	Jemima applies herself conscientiously to tasks across the curriculum. She always maintains concentration, makes significant contributions to discussions and persists with challenging tasks. Jemima has a curious mind and is always prepared to extend her knowledge. Excellent work Jemima!
3T	Mikey Atkins	Perseverance	Mikey has been working extremely hard in our writing sessions this week. He showed that he can plan and draft a wonderful narrative which was both engaging and imaginative. He included all the necessary features to make the plot fluid such as the rising action, climax, falling action and a resolution. Fantastic work Mikey, keep letting that creativity shine!
4Z	Austin White	Perseverance	Austin consistently exhibits an admirable work ethic, demonstrating a willingness to persevere through challenging tasks. Rather than avoiding difficulties, he confronts them with determination, actively seeking assistance when necessary. Additionally, Austin consistently makes wise decisions that further his own learning and enhance the classroom atmosphere. Well done, Austin.
5L	Dane Stoodley	Bravery & Kindness	Dane has been an absolute superstar settling into his new school here at BRPS. He participates in all activities with enthusiasm and has already made some wonderful connections with his peers. It has been great to see you building new friendships and exploring new opportunities Dane. We are very lucky to have you!
5M	Marieta Kholostenko	A Love Of Learning	Marieta has worked extremely hard within our writing sessions to produce some fantastic persuasive paragraphs. Her careful planning and use of a wide range of literary devices, along with creative word and phrase choices made for excellent reading! Well done Marieta!
5T	Sebastian Thomas	A Love of Learning	Sebi has had a great week in 5T! He is extremely focussed, on task and always ready to learn. Sebi makes excellent contributions to the novel study both in terms of his historical knowledge and using context cues to decipher the meaning of unknown words. We love seeing your passion for learning Sebi - keep it up!

We all loved hearing about your trip to Japan and well done on answering questions from your peers so confidently. We look forward to your next presentation!
FE	Flynn Erikson	Teamwork	Congratulations to Flynn for doing a fantastic job at being a team player in Foundation E! You always work well with others and make everyone feel included. Your positivity and teamwork have made a big difference in our classroom as you encourage others to participate and celebrate their successes. Well done Flynn, and keep up the fantastic work!
FK	Ollie Thomas	Love of Learning	It has been wonderful watching Ollie being so keen to get his work completed and being so interested in his learning. He is trying so hard with his letter and number formation which is great to see. Ollie did an amazing job at making the teen numbers with his ten’s frames. Well, done, Ollie!
1D	Kiara Piacentino	Bravery	Kiara presented her special items from her treasure box in a clear voice. Although she was initially hesitant, she engaged her audience by using lovely expression and answered each of her peer’s questions. Keep up the great work Kiara!
1N	Carter Dudink	A Love of Learning	Carter has had a brilliant week in Year One this week. He has displayed a positive attitude to all his learning tasks and completed them with enthusiasm. Carter has been setting a wonderful example to others and has even been helping many of his peers with their work. Well done, Carter!
1S	Maeve Russell	A Love of Learning	Congratulations Maeve, who has been showing an exemplary effort in class. She has been a great role model, leading the way with our ‘Heggerty’ daily phonics sessions. Maeve knows all the hand movements and always takes part with a smile on her face. Thank you for being such a positive member of 1S Maeve!
2C	Mia Knezev	A Love of Learning	Mia was showcasing her knowledge during our excursion to TwistED Science! It was evident that she has enjoyed her science sessions with Wilko as she eagerly answered the questions. At one point Mia respectfully corrected the presenter when she was sharing her knowledge of clouds! Wilko would’ve been proud. Mia clearly loves to learn and is always looking for a challenge, keep it up.
2H	Aaliyah Hauw	Leadership	On our excursion to TwistED Science, Aaliyah demonstrated excellent listening skills, was polite and respectful and showed great enthusiasm for learning. It was an absolute joy to have Aaliyah on our excursion and she was a brilliant role model for her Year Two peers.
2P	Hamish Hansen	Self Regulation	Hamish has been demonstrating patience and persistence in class. He is building his resilience and applying new strategies to calm himself when he reaches roadblocks. This is particularly evident when using the Grade 2 Laptops! Keep it up Hamish!
3B	Madeleine	Teamwork	Madeleine displayed excellent kindness and teamwork qualities by constantly assisting a classmate with a broken finger. Madeleine helped her teammate to write a story, collect materials and pack her belongings. A very thoughtful and respectful student. Congratulations Madeleine!
4Z	Ben Luxmoore	Perseverance	Ben has shown determination this past week in his schoolwork. His willingness to embrace new tasks and persist in the face of obstacles has been truly commendable. Ben’s hard work and perseverance has not gone unnoticed. Well done, Ben. Never lose sight of your incredible potential.
5L	Tiana Schiffner	Love of Learning	Tiana consistently shows dedication and persistence in all areas of her learning. She participates in class discussions with enthusiasm and we love to hear her valued thoughts and opinions. This week, she has been a superstar when completing her NAPLAN assessments. Keep up the fantastic work Tiana!
5M	Vivienne Baker	Team work	Viv has been an amazing team member of our Oz Tag team! She is a great sprinter and flies down the tryline like a bolt of lightning! She also displays a sense of fairness and positivity!
5T	Luis Duran	Bravery/A love of learning	Luis has made an amazing start to his first term here at BRPS! He has settled well into our school community and the 5T classroom. Luis is an active participant during learning activities, particularly while reading and responding to our class text. He has shown enthusiasm during the Daily Review in maths and a determination to show his understanding of new concepts. Luis has shown an excellent understanding of vocabulary and answers comprehension questions with great insight and knowledge of the text. Luis, we are so proud of you!
6B	Diyanka Nair	Creativity	While studying the novel ‘Rabbit Proof Fence’, Diyanka used creativity to rewrite parts of the story from a characters’ perspective. She used techniques learned in class to add tension and drama to her writing. Well done, Diyanka! I look forward to reading the final copy!
6L	Jess Aldous	Leadership	Jess has had a marvellous start to the year in 6L. She has shown that she is dedicated to self-improvement and she is always looking for ways to help out and assist in the classroom. I’m looking forward to seeing what you can achieve this year, Jess. Keep it up!
6M	Issy Abley	Teamwork	Congratulations to Issy in 6M, for demonstrating the BRPS value of teamwork this week. Her encouragement of others in the classroom and on the sports field fosters unity and kindness among peers. Issy has been a great role model to those around her. Keep it up!

FE	Ava Adams	Bravery	Congratulations to Ava for displaying bravery in Foundation E. She has done a wonderful job at organising herself each morning and confidently settling into the classroom with a positive mindset. Ava was very brave and excited to participate at the Zoo and showed courage throughout the whole day. Well done Ava, and keep up the fantastic work!
FK	River Capron	Curiosity	River is to be congratulated on the wonderful curiosity he showed on our zoo excursion. Miss Morgan, who took River in her group, said he was interested in finding out about all the animals and displayed wonderful manners and kindness. Well done River. Keep being curious!
1D	Will Magee	A Love of learning	Will has shown wonderful dedication to his learning and is a fantastic role model to his peers. He willingly shares his thoughts and opinions with the class and joins in activities with enthusiasm. We are lucky to have you in 1D. Keep up the great work Will!
1N	Lola Meyer	Perseverance	Lola has demonstrated wonderful perseverance with her learning this term. Lola has enjoyed completing learning tasks and never gives up if things get a bit tricky! Lola did a wonderful job presenting her treasure box to the class. She explained her items with detail and always maintained eye contact. Lola should be very proud of her achievements, keep up the fantastic work.
1S	Oliver Basic	A Love of Learning	Oliver has shone during our ‘News Report’ presentations over the last two weeks. He has been listening to his peers and asking insightful questions. Oliver presented confidently with a clear voice and explained his items with excitement. Well done Oliver!
2C	Angus Ray	Leadership	Angus is to be congratulated on being a fantastic and responsible computer monitor. He was very helpful in organising the laptops and handing them out. Angus also collected the login cards and made sure they were kept in the correct order which helps to make it easier for the next monitor. Thank you for showing us what a great leader looks like. You are a superstar!
2H	Indie Cross	Love of learning	Last week, Indie demonstrated a love of learning and initiative. She took it upon herself in mindfulness to write phrases using alliteration with every letter of the alphabet. What a wonderful way to showcase her writing.Keep it up Indie!
2P	Raffaela Germano	Love of Learning	Raffaela fills the 2P classroom with enthusiasm and joy every day. She asks outstanding, focused questions and seeks to extend her knowledge in all areas of learning. I look forward to seeing the great things you achieve throughout the rest of Grade 2! Well done!
3B	Max Gillard	Gratitude	Max is an enthusiastic learner who greets every day with a smile. 6L	James Thalas	Kindness	James demonstrated brilliant patience and positivity during the buddy zoo excursion. He was able to help his buddy enjoy their day at the zoo, often showing terrific maturity when it was sometimes a tricky job. Well done on your efforts James, I appreciate all the work you are putting in with Arlo!
