Grade 1

Grade 1 students have been working hard and settling into the new year with enthusiasm and excitement. 

In Religion, we have been exploring the importance of our own Lenten journey and reflecting on how we can live our lives like Jesus. During morning prayers, we are adding our own painted heart to a big class heart, and using this as a point of reflection throughout each day. We have also been learning about the ways we can pray. We followed a guided drawing to draw a child praying, and then added details about where we were praying and what it looks like when we pray. 

Our artwork is on display in our classroom and our families are welcome to visit and check it out!
