Grade 2

Grade 2 has got off to a fantastic start and have set themselves some goals for the year. We have already begun to work towards achieving them. 

Here are some goals different students want to achieve:

This year I want to improve my Maths. (Matilda)

I want to be better at swimming. (Ollie)

Listen to Ms Woolley. (Nathan)

This year I want to improve my writing. (James)

I want to learn to read better. (Jeffrin)

This year I want to challenge myself by writing more. (River)

This year I want to challenge myself by spelling hard words. (Rylan)

I want to improve my soccer skills. (Arlo)

I want to improve my flexibility. (Willow)

I want to be better at writing. (Ava)

To improve my drawing. (Maddi)

I want to improve football. (Xavier)

This year I want to improve my writing. (Oscar)

My goal is to draw my best drawings. (Luka)

This year I would like to be better at reading books. (Ronan)

All students have set themselves goals. Many students have said that they want to improve reading and writing this year. Some have set very specific goals such as learning more about lions and landing a flip! Some are more achievable than others, but it pays to aim high and never say never! If you are a parent of a Grade 2 student please come and have a read of our goals, they are on the wall in the classroom. I am looking forward to helping students achieve these goals this year.
