😱March Madness - chooks, chicks, furry pigs and a cockatoo 😤🌻 

March is upon us and our garden has been blessed with the arrival of many prep students. They have been getting to know our trusty garden team💪, animals and some have even joined us on our ever popular ‘Reptile Wednesday’. There’s some serious attitude in some of these photos. Check out some of these chooks and chicks 😍. 

🫣Wow! That’s a massive zucchini Nate harvested on Wednesday. It’s one of the biggest we’ve ever grown. Now that’s a lot of zucchini slice he’s carrying there! 😜

On Wednesday a number of students headed into the reptile enclosures at first play. We spotted three frogs 🐸, lots of frog spawn, two turtles 🐢 and caught a  heap of feeder fish 🐟. Check out some of our trusty crew in action. Detectives hard at work 🥸🕵️‍♀️. I’m pleased to report that everyone managed to stay dry 😅. 

Last year students planted a heap of sunflowers in our garden. To our great delight we have had the most spectacular display of them 🌻👏. To my great horror I was met by a number of cockatoos eating them 😠. Check them out. Both sunflowers, students and cockatoo look pretty cool 😎. 

🏆Our highly successful guinea pig breeding program is coming to an end. We have five male guinea pigs up for permanent adoption. It is best if they are adopted out in pairs. If you already have a guinea pig or two and would like another we have one spare. If you’re interested please let me know or send a note down with your child letting me know. We have three females that will be kept at school. Thank you to the Sharkie family and a heap of year six students for allowing this to happen. They have brought much love to many 🙏❤️.
