Continued Sporting Success

Former Mount Ridley College student Sua Fa’alogo has signed a five year deal to lock him at club on the back of a stunning 2023 season. The 20-year-old has been elevated to the top 30 list for the 2024 season after an impressive NRL and international debut last season.

 

Grade 5/6 Interschool Sport 

Students from Grade 5/6 participated in interschool Cricket against Aitken Creek Primary School. The friendly rivalry was high as both teams battled it out on the pitch, showcasing their cricketing skills and sportsmanship.

 

Senior Boys and Girls Volleyball

On Monday 12th of February, our Senior students represented the college at the Mickleham division Volleyball competition. Both the Boys and Girls team were successful in advancing through the round robin stage to the grand final, where they both competed against Craigieburn Secondary. The boys team were successful in winning their grand final and advance through to the next round. Congratulations to all students involved 👏

 

VOLLEYBALL  Girls/Boys 

Our intermediate volleyball teams, both boys and girls, had a triumphant outing this past 21st Feb. Their hard work and dedication paid off as they dominated the competition, remaining undefeated throughout the entire day.

 

This impressive feat secures their place in the next round of the tournament! We're incredibly proud of their teamwork, sportsmanship, and undeniable talent on the court.

Both teams had a successful day out at the intermediate volleyball, with the girls and boys teams going undefeated across the day to progress to the next round

 

ESP Basketball - Intermediate 3XCUP

On Wednesday, March 6th, Intermediate (Under 17) ESP Basketball students attended Nunawading Basketball Stadium for the 3XCUP.

Despite facing fierce competition, our students excelled, with two teams advancing to the quarterfinals.

TENNIS 

Students participated in the Mickleham Division Tennis sport program & the boys fought gallantly in the heat and were an absolute credit to themselves and the school.
