Co-curricular

Change of Seasons
As I write this article, we have just finished our Summer season and have already started our Winter season, as the Black and Green Shield was held on Saturday here at the College along with our Years 5 and 6 Supporters’ Day.
I would like to thank all our students who participated in the Summer Sports Program. Our Co-curricular Program is part of our wholistic education that we offer here at St Patrick’s College and having young men engage with physical activity contributes to their overall wellbeing. As well as sport we have a vast array of cultural co-curricular offerings and it has been so pleasing to see so many of our young men involved in Public Speaking, Theatresports as well as FIAT and SJAG. Along with that we have our Band and Choir who never cease to amaze me. There is something on offer here for everyone and as a College, we are extremely proud of that.
I would also like to thank our staff who work tirelessly six days a week to ensure that our young men have connection to their friends and their College. Their contribution to our program ensures that our staff have authentic relationships with your son both inside and outside of the classroom.
Our parents/carers play such an important part to ensure this program’s success. Not only are you Uber drivers, but you are also your sons’ biggest supporters as well as some of you who coach or manage our teams. We could not do it without you.
As our Summer season ends, I look forward to seeing you all again in the Winter season. I wish you a safe and happy holiday break and wish the young men and staff who are going on our Football tour to England and Spain all the best and safe travels.
