Celebrating Success!
Xavier Price: Leading the Way in Sustainability
A special shoutout to Xavier, who has been demonstrating a commitment to the environment and sustainability. Every day, Xavier has been collecting and recycling cans, making a positive impact on our school environment.
Vivien Turner’s Baseball Success
We are incredibly proud of Vivien, who has been invited to attend the World Championships for Baseball in the United States! She is one of only two girls in Victoria to receive this prestigious opportunity. This is a testament to her hard work, talent, and determination. We wish her all the best!
Levi Litaric – Celebrating success in Operation Newstart

Programs and events
Year 9 Mentor Program
This term, the Year 9 Mentor Program has been working hard behind the scenes, with our amazing mentors creating fun and engaging lunchtime activities for the Year 7s. In the last week of Term 1, our mentors will participate in a special leadership seminar, where they will develop skills to become even stronger role models. Well done to all our mentors for their dedication!
Morrisby Testing
Our year 9 students recently completed the Morrisby Testing, a valuable tool that helps guide them in future course selections and career pathways. To celebrate this important milestone, the year 9s enjoyed a BBQ lunch, giving them a well-earned break and a chance to reflect on their results.
NAPLAN
The Year 9 Team would like to thank all students for their effort and commitment during the recent NAPLAN assessments. We appreciate the responsibility you showed by bringing your devices fully charged. Your dedication to trying your best and staying focused throughout the assessments has not gone unnoticed. Congratulations on making it through NAPLAN—the Year 9 Team is proud of you all!
Green chronicles
A reminder that students can cash in their green chronicles for a number of amazing rewards. A great example of this is Daniel, who cashed in his green chronicles in the 2024 Chronicle Auction, to win a pancake breakfast for his whole homegroup! Students can be awarded green chronicles for going above and beyond in their classes and demonstrating the College’s ICARE values.
Year 9 Homegroup Competition Term 1
Year 9 Homegroups have been completing a Homegroup Competition with the major focus of ‘Arriving on Time’ and a weekly quiz. Homegroups lost points for every student that was late to Homegroup every morning, with the winning team getting a Pancake Breakfast as a reward in Term 2.
Congratulations to 9E for winning the competition, please stay tuned for photos of their pancake breakfast in early Term 2!
Looking Ahead to Term 2
With Term 1 coming to an end, we hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved break. We can’t wait to see what next term brings, with even more exciting opportunities, challenges and successes ahead. Rest up, stay safe and come back ready for another fantastic term!
