Here are some pieces about the day written by students:

I really liked athletics because I got to see my friends from other schools. I competed in the 12/13 year-old boys shot put and discus. I came 1st for both shot put and discus. I had a really great time doing athletics this year. I am through to the next level and the next level is division.

When I first arrived at district athletics, I felt very nervous. It was my first time, and I felt like I was going to get disqualified in discus. When it was my turn, I threw 13 metres. I came in second place and I made it to division. Next it was my turn in the shot put. I used up all my energy and muscles and threw 8 metres! And I won. I went to the lady and got my ribbon.
