Japanese

Term 1 has flown by in the Japanese classroom.
Year 8 have enthusiastically undertaken their new subject, loving the quirky songs and activities that come with learning a new language. Most students can now introduce themselves and talk about their likes and dislikes. They have enjoyed making avatars of themselves with their Japanese introductions below:
Year 9 Elective students have spent the term focusing on learning to enable them to talk about the people around them. Students had fun creating a “family” made up of whomever they pleased, including a ‘My Bluey Family” and “My Bondi Rescue Family”, along with some other interesting combinations!
Year 10 students focused on housing as their first unit of study, culminating in them creating their own version of a tiny Japanese home. The language they have learned this term should enable students to find rental accommodation of their choosing, should they find themselves in such a situation in Japan.
