Year 1 News

Dear Families,
The students have enjoyed sharing stories about their break and have settled back into the routine of school well. Term 2 promises to be fun and very busy with our first excursion, mothers day stall, book fair and school photos all coming up.
This term students are investigating people and places in our community. The upcoming excursion will provide grade one students with the opportunity to explore all that the Manor Lakes Library offers to the community. It will also help to develop their literacy skills and empower students to navigate a library confidently.
As the weather gets cooler children will begin to wear coats, gloves and beanies to keep warm. This is just a gentle reminder to ensure that each item is clearly labelled with your child’s name so they can be returned easily should they get lost.
