Celebrating Learning

Come little leaves said the wind one day

Come over the meadows with me to play

Put on your jackets of red and gold

Summer is gone and the days grow cold

Soon as the leaves heard the winds loud call

Down they came fluttering one and all

Over the meadows they danced and flew 

Singing the soft little songs that they knew

With the return of Autumn, we have revived our leaf circle dancing.  We have been dancing a lot around numbers too, back and forth as well as skipping in 2s and 5s.  Bees in a hive, bears in a den, 5, 10, 15, 20, the bears spent their money on all the bees' honey… We have been designing the wardrobes of Odd Melodd and Even Steven with stripes, polka dots and socks.

We continue to delight in Grimm’s fairy tales and guessing and taking objects out of the magic sound pot, as well as drawing and writing words using that letter.  ZZZ, we enjoyed drawing what Zelda was dreaming about in the land of Z. We also made our own dream boats out of clay and paint to carry sweet dreams to us. Wishing everyone beautiful dreams and happy holidays.
