Our Magical Musos!
Our rad recorder players in Years 2-4 have been building on their skills with warm breaths and stopping squeaky leaks. They have played along to B Funky (note B), learned Apes Eating Apricots (note A) and three finger G (note G). Putting these notes together we played Hot Cross Buns just in time for Easter! Some of our rad recorder players went on to play it upside down! We have also had fun playing games to practice keeping a steady beat and ostinatos.
Our sensational singers in Prep/1 have been exploring high and low sounds and everything in between as we have sailed on the ocean with Charlie and on a ship with the H.I.P.P.O Hippopotamus. Our singers are finding their voices to sing on their own as well as echo others. Our grade ones have been helping the preps so thoughtfully and have grown in confidence.
TPS Choir
Our choir has been so enthusiastic and delightful at lunchtime rehearsals in the last few weeks and have loved the song we have been singing. I was very proud of their performance at the assembly on Monday which showed their hard work and courage. Aoife, Sophie, Ivy I, Mia and Bonnie sang beautiful solos! Thanks Aoife for being such a great leader!
