Newsletter week 10

Wow, what a term it has been! 

Firstly, we would like to thank each and every one of you who donated for the Grade 2 Bake stall. We were truly blown away by the number of donations we received and thank you again for the time and effort that went into this. Our stall would not have been possible without your generosity. It was a huge success and we can’t wait to hear just how much we managed to raise.

In Writing this week students are reflecting on the fete and describing the experience using their senses. We are excited to see how these turn out! Over the last 2 weeks in Numeracy students have been working hard learning efficient addition strategies. These simple mental strategies can then be applied to larger numbers as students become more confident. 

As the term comes to a close we wish you and your family a restful and relaxing holiday as we prepare for another busy term to come.
