Celebrating our students

Good luck Emmerson
We wish Emmerson Hoggan all the very best as she heads to the Gold Coast to compete in the School Sport Australia competition, representing Victoria in the School Sport Victoria Team. Selected for the team in Term 2, Emerson has been diligently working with her Ivanhoe Edge coach, James McBride, to perfect her technique and ensure she performs at her best.
The School Sport Australia (SSA) competition is an annual event that brings together the best young athletes from across the nation to compete in a range of sports. It provides a platform for students to showcase their skills, represent their state, and gain valuable competitive experience.
We are sure Emmerson is enjoying the lovely sun and warmth as she competes in this exciting event. Looking forward to hearing all about it when she's back!
Congratulations Leo on State Team Selection
Water Polo Victoria has announced their final team selections for the National State Championships, which will be held on the Gold Coast from Thursday, 26 September, until Monday, 30 September. Ivanhoe Edge is thrilled to congratulate Leo Briganti on his outstanding achievement of being selected as one of only three bottom-age boys for the 15 and Under team.
Leo is a founding member of the Ivanhoe Edge water polo program, and his growth in skills, particularly in shooting strength and mobility, has been remarkable. We wish Leo all the best in the upcoming championships and are confident he will be able to use all of the knowledge he has gained through his sessions with Ivanhoe Edge to succeed at this competition.
As the AGSV Water Polo season is in full swing, we welcome any other students interested in joining the Ivanhoe Edge water polo program. If you are looking for some additional and more individualised coaching, please reach out to edge@ivanhoe.com.au.
