3/4 CLASSROOM
This fortnight the grade 3/4 class have enjoyed a wonderful day for book week. We enjoyed visiting the Rushworth library in our creative costumes. Some highlights from the visit were reading some of the shortlisted books for 2024, creating wonderful craft pieces for the book 'If I was a horse' and learning about the exciting activities the library has to offer.
On Friday in sport we had a wonderful time getting out some different sports equipment and giving it a go, our favourite thing was skipping. This week we have continued to practice skipping, we are all getting very good!
Last week was bullying no way week. Mrs Jamieson did an awesome activity in art where we created a puzzle piece each. We joined them all together to represent that we all belong together. In class we made some trees with leaves on them. Each leaf has a person's name on it, the people on the leaves represent the people we can go to if we are feeling uncomfortable or if we have an issue with bullying. Some people on our leaves include Mum, Dad, Grandparents, Auntys, Uncles and Teachers.
Next week Mrs Brook will be away on a trip to Mungo, when she returns she will share all the interesting things she has learnt with the class.
Coming up this term we have swimming in week 8 and ASPA in week 10. We will begin talking about camp in the coming weeks as we will be going in week 1 of term 4.
