Term 3 Enrichment Programs
Throughout Term 3 small groups of high achieving students from Years 7 to 9 will participate in different enrichment programs.
Renewable Energy Futures Program
This week the Renewable Energy Futures program commenced, involving a group of students from Year 7 and 8. This is the third year we have been invited by the Bendigo Tech School to participate in this program. We are pleased to have developed a positive relationship with this school. The program is being co-delivered by Ms Miliano and a teacher from the Bendigo Tech School. The sessions will include live and virtual opportunities, building knowledge of the topic of renewable/sustainable energy solutions.
The ACER Advance Awards for Schools
High-achieving students in English and Maths from Years 7 to 9 have been nominated by their teachers to participate in this year's Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) Advance Awards for Schools. The Advance Awards for Schools competition is intended for high-achieving students and aims to stretch their skills and knowledge. Students will participate in two competitions, one for numeracy and the other for literacy. Each learning area takes one session of no more than 45 minutes to complete. This is an exciting enrichment opportunity for our high-achieving students.
