From the Principal

Welcome back to Term 3.

It has been a cold and wet start to the term, with winter welcoming us back to school. The grounds are very wet and muddy as you have no doubt discovered last week with clothing and shoes after school!

As with every term this one is going to be busy - we have begun production rehearsals for the main characters and most year levels know their songs, now moving on to learning the choreography to accompany the songs for their stage performance. Watch for ticketing and costume updates via Compass in the coming weeks.

I am also seeking feedback from families that use OHSC services on what is important to them in a service. Please email me via the school email - orchard.grove.ps@education.vic.gov.au - with your feedback.

School Council will use this feedback as part of our tender process (we are required to do this at the end of each contract ) to ensure we meet the needs of our families for our next contract.

Next week our Year 5 and 6 students start their swimming program and the Foundation students celebrate their 100th day at school!!  At assembly (2nd of August) we will induct an ex-student as our inaugural member of the OGPS Sporting Hall of Fame.

Till next time.
