Making MUSIC

We have started Term 3 with a bang - all classes are currently taking part in percussion activities involving bucket drums, cups or boomwhackers! Later this term we have several exciting incursions coming up, with a MacKillop College rock band visiting to work with our students next week, then a music/dance/drama showcase performance from MacKillop students later in the term. 

Musica Viva performers will visit us in Week 9, with their show “Timmy and the Breakfast Band”. This will be a fabulous opportunity for students to hear professional musicians performing, and discover how music and circus arts can be combined! 

We are also busy preparing for our Spring Concert, which will be held on Thursday September 12th. Choir, Marimba Group, Rock Band, Dance Clubs and more will be involved. More details to come shortly… watch this space!
