Getting into the Olympic Spirit!

With the help of Our MacKillop buddies, Grade Two completed some activities to learn about the Olympics. We made Olympic flags, an Olympic torch and learnt about some history of the Games. Our buddies organised  a mini Olympics for us to participate in. 

We were put into teams representing different countries. We held an opening ceremony where we performed our team chant. We participated in some events where we earned points. Teams were awarded medals; gold, silver and bronze.
