Tommy Lahiff Cup

Congratulations to our Grade 5/6 Boys AFL team, who went undefeated all day at the Tommy Lahiff Cup to bring home the trophy! The boys displayed outstanding teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship, combining skillful ball movement with strong defensive pressure across every match.

Our Grade 5/6 Girls team also had a fantastic day, showcasing enormous growth, grit, and game awareness. Their determination, teamwork, and positive attitude shone through in every match. They demonstrated key values of resilience, respect, and inclusivity, supporting each other on and off the field and giving their all in every contest.

A special shoutout to Zoe who was named female Player of the Day for her hard running, strong marking, and consistent impact across the field. Congrats also to Ollie Newbold, who was awarded male Player of the Day for his consistent effort and leadership, and to Sid Clarke, whose incredible composure under pressure saw him slot the winning goal on the siren in a thrilling finish!

We are incredibly proud of both teams for their efforts, sportsmanship, and the way they represented MPPS. Well done to all!
