NAIDOC Week

In celebration of NAIDOC Week, we were fortunate to have some wonderful parents share their knowledge with our Pre-Primary to Year Six students, teaching them about the cultural significance of dot painting in First Nations traditions.
Using this insight, each student decorated a rock, which will be placed in our bush garden as a reminder of the heritage and artistry of First Nations peoples.
Our Kindy children proudly acknowledged NAIDOC Week by exploring the meaning and colours of the First Nations flag.
Thank you, Tameka Merritt and Ashlee Ryder, two of our First Nations mums, for your time and sharing of culture on this day.
