Dear Families and Friends of St Anthony's,
We've had a wonderful Term Two. Congratulations to all students for all of their achievements, thank you to staff for their dedication and to families for their support.
This term we have enjoyed many rich learning opportunities. During STEM and Visual Arts students enjoyed the Picasso Cow Project. The explored Picasso's artworks, learned about the production of dairy products, cooked pizzas and connected their learning to our school, community garden and our local area.
The Year 5/6s recently enjoyed camp and competing in the final rounds of the Winter School Sports. At the beginning of Term Three, some of the teams will compete in the finals.
This term also saw the official introduction of Felix, our second wellbeing dog. Felix has enjoyed spending time in the office and meeting the students on his walks around the school. Next term will see him enter classrooms more often.
Term Three will be an exciting term with our production of Seussical the Musical.
Thank you for all the support that you provide your child/children and for the staff at
St Anthony's. Wishing all a very safe and relaxing break.
School returns on Monday 21st July.
Prayer for the End of Term
Dear Lord,
We thank you for this term of learning and growth, for the challenges we have overcome and the success we have achieved. We thank you for our classmates, teachers and families
Bless us, our families and friends these holidays. Help us to be grateful for the time we get to spend time together and keep us safe in all we do. May we get lots of rest and recharge for the term ahead.
Amen.
