Wellbeing Wrap Up

Congratulations to our students on their personal and social wins this semester.
Congratulations- thank you and congratulations to our student community on filling our School Wide Positive Behaviour jar. On Monday, June 30th, we will celebrate by having a doghnut day. This reward was voted for by our students. Our Grade 3-4 students will be the year levels to receive a ribbon. We are very proud of the way our school works together to earn this achievement.
TRIBES- In our most recent TRIBES lesson we were delving into what it means to be courageous and inclusive. We read the book Invisible Boy and discussed how being courageous is important and ways to be inclusive. Each student was given a star-shaped paper. On one side, they wrote/drew one courageous thing they want to try.
On the other side they recorded a way they can be more inclusive this week.
Attitudes to School Survey- Our Grade 4-6 students recently participated in a survey to gain insight into their school experience. This provides valuable feedback to continue supporting students and make changes to support student concerns. It was wonderful working with the grades to conduct this survey- I was impressed by their respectful choices and welcoming nature.
I hope everyone has a relaxing break ready for an exciting Term 3.
