Junior School Principal Report

A great way to end the term

I had the pleasure of heading along for two days of City Experience and I've been so impressed with our student's ability to navigate the city and get where they need to be on time! It's a fantastic way to end Term 2, so a big thank you to Adam Given and Christina Bukojemski for their tireless organisation to ensure the event ran smoothly. 

Thanks also must go to Nicole Pratt who organised a great end of mentoring activity where the Year 8's competed against Year 7's in a number of activities. If my scoring was correct, it was the Year 8's who came out on top! The students were fantastic getting involved in all of the different games... A shout out to Fraser G and Liam S who won the individual events.

Reports

You should now have access through the Compass portal your end of semester reports for your children. Any concerns should be directed to the teachers or heads of year level to follow up. There have been a few changes this year, so if you have any feedback positive or negative, we are open to it. 

Footy

It's been a highly successful few weeks for our football program with all of our teams (Year 7 boys, Year 8 boys and Junior girls) all making it through to the EMR grand finals. The Junior girls were again successful in winning the EMR and will now move onto the State finals! Thanks to all of our coaches for the time that they put into these programs and we wish the girls success at the next round.
