VCE VM MasterChef Challenge

On Monday 23rd June, the Year 12 VCE VM class completed a MasterChef Challenge.  This challenge was designed to expose students to real-life informative and instructional texts.  Each group was required to select and research a recipe, looking at the history of it, nutritional value and its ability to be altered to meet the dietary requirements of certain groups. Groups were also required to work within a budget and work effectively as a team.

MasterChef judges: Ms Fox, Mr Flack, Ms Kite, Ms Greto and Ms Sweeney tasted all the meals and judged them on creativity, taste, presentation and teamwork. 

Congratulations to Josh M and Luke W who were winners on the day, successfully creating and presenting a chicken quesadilla.
