Year 3 & 4

Around our level

The Year 4s have come back from camp with many wonderful stories of trying new things, eating different foods, and helping and encouraging our friends. Who knew it was so much fun to make our beds and tidy our cabins? The weather was perfect for the activities, even though it was hot at times. We had icy poles to help us cool off, and then we finished with a water slide and Water Action Tower.

The Year 3s enjoyed being back together and they spent time writing persuasive stories. You may be asked by your child if they can start a new sport. Their arguments were very persuasive about what new activity they would like to try.

This week, we have settled back into normal school routines, every though some students would prefer to still be back at camp! We have had a hot few days, so occasionally we need to run a ‘hot day’ timetable, when the students are playing inside at lunchtime. Any donations of complete board games would be most welcome, or any leftover crafts materials that you may have at home would be great for us to utilize on these hot days.
