Assistant Principal's Message

School Hours and Child Safety
Please remember that the school gates will be supervised from 8.30 am - 8.55 am each morning. At the end of the day, the gates are supervised from 3.10 pm - 3.30 pm. If you are not able to pick up your children, please book them into before or after-school care (SCECS), where they will get a nutritious snack and have lots of fun. We need to ensure the safety of our children is at the forefront of our thinking in all situations so please help us to do that by following the guidelines.

OLSH Kensington & Brigidine Randwick Visit
Our Year 4 and Year 5 girls were thrilled to welcome the Principal of OLSH Kensington College Ms Gilda Pussich and Principal of Brigidine College Randwick Mr Adrian Eusson. They spoke to the students about the excellent facilities available and the strong educational benefits the college offers. The girls enjoyed hearing about the modern learning environments, supportive community and diverse co‑curricular opportunities that help students flourish both academically and personally. They also shared the importance of sport in building confidence, teamwork, and resilience. It was an engaging and informative session that gave our students a valuable insight into life at OLSH Kensington and Brigidine Randwick.

Community News
Luca represented Easts at the State Cup in Penrith last Friday and Saturday.
We arrived at Penrith and played our first game. We won 9 - 2. Next game we vs Camden I even scored a try! We lost 5 - 2 but we didn’t give up. The next game we played against Parramatta we lost again 9 - 2. The following day we were all pumped up. The first game we played Tamworth. I got nominated captain. We won 9 - 2, we were back in the game. We then played Central Coast and it was 4 - 4 but the buzzer hadn't gone, we scored on the buzzer and it was a try! We knocked Central Coast out of the tournament. We had one more game to go vs Port Stephens, we won 6 - 1. We came 2nd on the ladder but tied with Parramatta but they had more for and against then us, so Camden and Parramatta made it to the finals. Still we played really well and I got voted MVP by my team. By Luca B
