JENNIFER HOLLOWAY (Prep Teacher)
What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about for the future?
I will be teaching Prep and am looking forward to beginning this special learning journey with our youngest students.
What did you do previously?
Over the past two years I have been teaching Year 2, and before that I taught Prep. I have loved working across the early years and supporting students at these important stages of their learning.
What do you like to do for fun?
I love spending time outdoors, travelling, trying new foods and spending time with my family and friends.
ANNE MATHESON (Secondary Teacher)
What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about for the future?
I will be teaching Year 10, 11 and 12 General Maths. I am really excited to be part of the school community, get to know students and help them excel.
What did you do previously?
I have been in Uganda volunteering, helping with education and also pastoring in an indigenous church there. Prior to that I have been a Maths teacher for a long time.
What do you like to do for fun?
I like a lot of things: people (especially including family), crafts, and cooking.
CANDICE ANDERSON (Secondary Teacher)
What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about for the future?
I am a Secondary Teacher. When I consider what the future holds, I am excited about the opportunity to build new relationships with students. I also think about how excited I am to openly, purposefully and intentionally draw upon my faith to serve our school community.
What did you do previously?
I have been a teacher for a number of years. I love being a teacher empowering students to be the best version of themselves that they can be. I was previously at Haileybury, having taught English and Drama from Year 5 to Year 12 at one point or another.
What do you like to do for fun?
I love to go on nature walks, cook dinner with my husband and discover the treasures of Belgrave - having moved to the area almost a year ago.
DIMITRI WILLENBERG (Secondary Teacher & Year 6 Band)
What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about for the future?
I am excited to share my passion for music performance and being closer to God musically. I am teaching Year 6 band, Year 7, 8 and 9 Music.
What did you do previously?
Last 2 years I taught music at Maranatha Christian School. Previously, over the last 18 years I taught classroom music in the public system, as well as Brass and Woodwind instruments.
What do you like to do for fun?
I enjoy jamming on my trumpet and Bass Guitar, and spending time with my two kids (10 months and 3 years old). I also enjoy gaming and eRacing with my friends.
