WELCOME TO 2026

PETER CLIFFE (PRINCIPAL)

I want to extend a very warm welcome back to Belgrave Heights Christian School for the 2026 school year. I hope the summer break provided your family with a time of rest, reflection, and joy as you celebrated the birth of our Saviour.

It is a privilege to see our school come alive once again with the energy and ambition of our students. As we stand at the threshold of this new year, I am excited to share with you our school theme for 2026: "All for God’s Glory."

This theme is rooted in 1 Corinthians 10:31: "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." For us at BHCS, this is more than just a motto; it is a foundational call to excellence and a re-centring of our purpose. It reminds us that every achievement in the classroom, every act of service, and every interaction in the playground is an opportunity to reflect the character of our Creator.

When we strive for our best, we aren't simply chasing grades or accolades; we are offering our talents back to the One who gave them to us. This year, we challenge our students to see their daily tasks, both extraordinary and mundane, as an act of worship. Whether they are tackling a difficult maths problem, competing on the sporting field, or supporting a friend in need, they are invited to do it with a heart that seeks to honour God.

Personally, 2026 marks a significant milestone for me as I enter my 25th year as a Principal. After a year that held its fair share of personal health challenges, now having made a full recovery, I return with a renewed sense of enthusiasm and a deep desire to "Make Every Day Count." I am more committed than ever to ensuring that BHCS remains a place where students are not only academically equipped but spiritually grounded.

We are praying for a restful, safe, and transformative year for all our families. We look forward to partnering with you as we journey through 2026 together, doing all things for His glory.
