On 23 May 2024, us girls went to the Eagle Stadium to play badminton. Miss Tazeen and Miss Zhou were very encouraging knowing that we all were very nervous since it was most of us first time playing badminton properly. Yesterday I was very proud of our team, we all played very well even with some problems. Alyssa and Sehaj got hurt during our first and second match, even thought they got hurt they were very supported and cheered for our team, in the end the got better and were able to play. Claire and Pardeep were one of our best players and won us at least 3 games. Saachi played amazingly and also won us a good amount of matches. Everyone showed outstanding teamwork and made sure everyone was having fun. In the end we got 3rd place in our group and 5th place out of all schools

The Year 7 Inter School Badminton Competition was a fantastic experience, full of excitement and good sportsmanship. Young athletes from different schools showed their skills in exciting matches, each demonstrating great agility and strategy, though we had a few rough patches the atmosphere was boosted by enthusiastic supporters, while the spirit of friendly competition and respect among players was clear. In the end it didn’t matter whether we won or lost, what mattered was that we had great fun. The Badminton Team also had a great time on the trip back to our school campus singing songs and having a bit of horseplay. We all hope to do better next year.

On our soccer tournament I had a lot of fun and was happy to represent our school. First, it was fun to play with other people that I have not played with before as we got to know how to play with them and cooperate with the team. During the first game we were all very excited and wanted to get on the field and do something. We versed Bemin, a new school in Truganina, and were surprised of the outcome- 1:1. We all did not have much hope of winning, but we drew with Gabriel scoring the winner. We lost our second match to Truganina P9 but drew our third match 1-1 against The Grange. Tirth scored our goal. It was also nice going to play soccer the whole day and representing the school. Even though we did not win a single game it was still a memorable experience for all of us. And Mr. W is also one of the best coaches I have ever had as he made very simple, yet so strong game plans, and we only ended up losing 1 game.
