What’s been happening at DASH!

During the last fortnight children were able to make heart fridge magnets, glittery crowns and pom-pom flowers as special gifts for their mum’s or another important female in their lives.

Last week children were given the opportunity to make a footy waver toy. In this exciting stem activity children explored how by moving and changing the angle of straws they could make the footy wavers arm move. Children made footy wavers for their teams and some adapted the activity to make their own design waving puppet.

Children were also able to draw and construct a badge of their own design and in the kitchen helped cook garlic bread, savoury ham and cheese puffs and Honey joys.
