CURRICULUM FOCUS

This week students are learning to show their understanding of procedural texts.

VOCABULARY

Procedural texts list a sequence of actions or steps needed to make or do something.

Typical examples of procedural texts include recipes, science experiments, assembly manuals or instructions for playing games

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Create a procedural text for a favoured past time family activity. This could be, ‘How to play UNO’ or ‘Snakes and Ladders’ etc..
