Classroom Happenings  Year 2

Try anything, try everything, try something new

This term unit was about trying things the children may or may not have done before.

We read story books on characters that tried new things, or things they were not confident in doing and discussed vocabulary like determination, perseverance and persistence.

Students had a go at gardening, gymnansastics, circus activities and even wrote and record their own song.

Children also wrote reflections on what it was like to experience new activities.
