Year 2 Altina Excursion

Year 2 travelled had an amazing day at Altina Wildlife Park last Tuesday. They started the day by stopping at Narrandera Park on the way and enjoying the playground and morning tea. After that, Year 2 travelled another 30 mins and excitedly arrived at Altina Wildlife Park. Students then had their walk around the zoo and saw crocodiles, meerkats, Tasmanian devils, wombats, swans, lemurs, and the tamarins showcased lots of entertainment. 

The students then went on the Safari tour on a cart led by one of the wildlife park staff. 2C and 2S went on separate carts and travelled around the huge Safari enclosures. They saw buffalos, zebras, lions, capybaras, giraffes, camels, wild dogs, mountain goats, hyenas and so much more. After hearing about facts on each animal students had the opportunity to ask questions. 

Finally, they had lunch and travelled to Narrandera Park to have one last play before heading back to College in time for pick-up. What an amazing day Year 2 had.
