What a fun and creative week we’ve had at OSHC!
Outdoor Adventures
The children have made the most of the sunshine by enjoying games of cricket on the oval. There’s been lots of teamwork, great sportsmanship, and some impressive batting skills on display! When the sun got a bit too hot, many children found their way to the sandpit, where imaginations ran wild building castles, digging tunnels, and creating their own sandy masterpieces – all while staying cool in the shade.
Indoor Fun in the Multi-Purpose Room
Inside, the multi-purpose room has been a hub of activity and creativity. Our construction corner was buzzing with builders designing incredible marble runs, LEGO creations, and towering structures using magnetic tiles. It’s been fantastic to see their problem-solving skills and teamwork in action.
Imaginative Play in the Shopping Corner
A highlight this week has been the ever-popular shopping corner. The children have been using recycled materials – shopping bags, food containers, cosmetic packaging, and even a toy cash register – to bring their very own store to life. They've been role-playing shoppers and cashiers, using fake money, some of which they even created themselves, including million dollar notes! It’s been a great opportunity for social play, literacy, and numeracy skills to shine.

Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) is managed by MACSEYE, a subsidiary of Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS).
MACSEYE offer a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where your child can relax, explore their interests and connect with friends.
With a variety of fun activities, supportive educators, cozy quiet spaces and healthy food options, MACSEYE supports each child’s well-being and development.
Available for children aged 5 to 12 years, Monday to Friday during school terms.
Before School Care hours
Mon-Fri: 6.45am-8.45am
Permanent: $25 per day
Casual: $30 per day
After School Care hours
Mon-Fri: 3:15pm-6:15pm
Permanent: $31.70 per day
Casual: $36.70 per day
