Private Lesson Attendance

As we approach the end of the year, this is a timely reminder for students to remain diligent about attending their private music lessons.

All Secondary students are required to notify their music teacher in advance if they are unable to attend a lesson. With sufficient notice, teachers can often arrange an alternative time. We also ask Primary parents to inform their child’s teacher if they are aware of any clashes between school events and music lessons. Please note that lessons missed without prior explanation will be charged to families.

A practical tip for helping students remember their lesson times is to wear a watch with an alarm. Setting an alarm before their scheduled lesson helps ensure they leave class on time and avoid missing lessons due to forgetfulness or other commitments.

Being punctual and consistent with lesson attendance not only supports steady progress but also helps students develop responsibility, organisation, and time management skills.
