Class of 2025 | Connected by Clayfield

As our Year 12 students prepare for tutorials and SWOT Vac ahead of their upcoming external examinations, we came together this week to celebrate their journey and wish them every success!
Principal Dr Andrew Cousins presented a personal, motivating and uplifting presentation to our Year 12 cohort. His words served as a reminder of how far they have come, both individually and as a cohort. Each Year 12 student received a lovely gift, ‘Oh, The Places You Will Go!’ by Dr Suess, encouraging them to stay focused as they approach the final chapter of their Secondary schooling.
In a symbolic tribute, each House then planted a rose in the College’s Circular Drive Rose Garden. This gesture represented growth and gratitude, marking the students’ upcoming transition from current Clayfield students to proud Old Collegians. Joining this meaningful ceremony was the President of the Old Collegians’ Association, Anna Lloyd (Class of 2008).
This year’s graduating class also holds a special place in our College's history as they are the final cohort to wear the Summer Uniform that was introduced in 1973. To commemorate this milestone, a group photo was taken on the stairs of the Chapel Courtyard.
The celebrations concluded with a celebratory lunch, giving students a chance to stop and embrace the journey that has shaped them.
Here’s to the Class of 2025, may your light continue to shine brightly in all that lies ahead. Your Clayfield family stands beside you every step of the way!
