Year 6 Girls Soccer Gala Day

On Wednesday 17th June, a team of Year 6 girls represented WHPS at the annual ‘District Girls Soccer’ gala day.
The games were played locally at Brentwood Reserve and our team had a terrific day. The sun was shining, and the girls were enjoying playing games while having music playing across the field. A few dance moves were even spotted while play was on!
Our 12 girls were exhausted after having played 7 games of soccer. From cheering on their teammates, to giggling when mistakes were made. The group kept their spirits up the whole day, even when facing extremely challenging players. All staff and students were very thankful for the beautiful weather, and grateful they didn’t get rained on.
Thank you to Mrs Bartleton for managing and umpiring the girls team.
