New School Signage

You may have noticed some new signage that has recently been installed around the school. A new Wheelers Hill Primary School sign has been placed near the flagpoles along Whites Lane, providing a welcoming entrance feature. We have also updated our house signage in the gym with new mascot signs and house mascot flags, helping build on our house identities and school spirit. In addition, all school gates are now clearly numbered.

These signs will assist parents, visitors and emergency services in finding their way around the school more easily.

SWPBS Reward Day

Congratulations to all of our students on earning the SWPBS Reward Day! This reward recognised the fantastic way our students consistently demonstrated our school values and met our school expectations throughout the term. As a result, students enjoyed a well-deserved Pyjama and Movie Day, which was a fun way to celebrate their positive behaviour and hard work.

Prep Community Dress Up

Well done to all of our Prep students for dressing up for Community Dress Up Day last week! The day was part of our Discovery Unit on Community, where students have been learning about the different people and jobs that help us in our everyday lives. It was great to see so many students getting involved and proudly dressing up as a range of community helpers.

End of Term

As Term 2 comes to a close, I’d like to wish all our students and their families a safe and happy holiday break. It’s been a busy and successful term filled with lots of  learning and a wide range of extracurricular opportunities.

A big thank you to our dedicated teachers and staff for all their hard work and commitment throughout the term. Congratulations to our wonderful students on an outstanding first semester. I'm sure this great effort will continue in Term 3 which starts on Monday 13th July
