Eastern Region Cross Country

Congratulations to Evie (5TL) and Lauren (6LV), who proudly represented WHPS at the Eastern Region Cross Country Championships.

Both girls qualified through the Monash Waverley Division Cross Country and travelled to Yarra Glen on Thursday 11th  June to compete at regional level.

Evie competed in the Girls 10 Year Old 2km event, finishing an impressive 36th out of 79 runners. Despite finding the pace very challenging, she showed great determination and successfully completed the race.

Lauren competed in the Girls 12 Year Old 3km event and delivered an outstanding performance, finishing 4th out of 71 runners with a time of 11 minutes and 50 seconds.

As a result of her excellent run, Lauren has qualified for the State Championships.
