End of Term News

Dear Families,

Wow, what a term! Term 3 is often when we can truly see how far our students have come since the beginning of the year. It has been an absolute pleasure to witness their growth and see their hard work, persistence and dedication to learning reflected in their progress each day.

Staffing News

On Friday 16th October, we will be holding a fundraiser called Funky Feet Friday (socks instead of beanies due to the better weather)  to raise funds for brain cancer research. This cause is especially close to our hearts as we show our support for our dear friend and colleague, Mary B, and her daughter, Molly.

If you would like to contribute, please donate using the link provided. Every donation, big or small, will make a meaningful difference. Please keep Molly and her family in your prayers. 

We congratulate Ashleigh and Tyson and the entire family on the arrival of their beauiful little girl Sloane. Isn't she just precious. 

Another bundle of joy to add to our Sacred Heart community. Time to open up a daycare onsite 😂

Uniform - Term 4

For the first two weeks students will be able to wear full summer or full winter uniform, as we transition to our summer uniform on Monday 19th October. Summer hats will also be required from this time too, for lunch and recess. Excitedly our Year 5s are trying on the sample sizes for their 2027 Sacred Heart Rubgy Jumpers. Thank you so much to Tarn and Kate for organising this. 

Tuck Shop

Term 4 Tuck Shop will commence on Friday the 16th of October. Further information about how to order and whats on the menu for Sacred Heart will be provided in the next newsletter.  

Swimming 

Swimming will be held at the Danny Frawley centre in Term 4 from Monday 16th - Thursday 26th for years 1-6. An nForma will go out early Term 4 with more information. 

🎥 Filming 🎥 

To protect the privacy of all students and families, we kindly ask that you only photograph or film your own child, or another child where you have received permission from their parent or carer.

Some families have chosen to withdraw consent for photography and filming for a variety of personal reasons. We ask everyone to respect these decisions and ensure that other children are not included in your photos or videos.

Please do not share images or footage containing other students on social media or other online platforms without the express permission of their parents or carers.

Thank you for helping us ensure that the school dance is a safe and enjoyable event for everyone.
