CAPA Faculty
Here at Evans HS, CAPA offers a diverse range of creative and performance-based subjects that require the use of specialist tech equipment and software programs. This equipment and software are essential to provide students with rich learning experiences that underpin the development of their creative and performance skills.
In Visual Arts, Visual Design and Stage 6 Ceramics students create many practical projects and theory-based tasks using Chromebooks, digital cameras, portable data projectors, desktop computers, colour digital printing as well as the crucial use of software programs including Adobe Suite.
Stage 5 and 6 Photography focuses on the taking and editing of both still and moving images so each student has access to a Digital SLR camera. Other tech equipment includes Chromebooks, desktop computers, colour digital printing and the software programs in Adobe Suite.
Music uses Chromebooks, iMac technology, audio interface, mixers, monitors and sound equipment including amps and Cables (Instrument leads and XLR) to enhance the performance, recording and editing of music. Music also uses the software programs Logic Pro, Soundtrap, Flat.io and Clipchamp in the creation and editing of music.
