Stationery

Below is a list of what you will need to do with the stationery you have ordered earlier this term to ensure that it is ready to go next week. We ask that you bring all stationery items to school on the first day back and we will store spare all equipment in the classroom.

Please do not name/label the following items:

  • Exercise books – we will have colour-coded sheets for each book with your child’s name on them. You are welcome to place the plastic sleeves/covers on the exercise books prior to day one.
  • Erasers, glue sticks, lead pencils, are all shared as a class set, so please don’t label these items (if you have already, that is ok).

Please name and label the following items:

  • Headphones
  • Textas and coloured pencils
  • Rulers
  • All pens as well as special black marker pens and any other miscellaneous items.

Your child will keep these stationery items in their school pencil case.

Note: Could you please bring your child’s named headphones in a named zip lock bag to avoid tangling up cords.

The stationery list suggests what is necessary for children to have at school. Please note that when children bring along special (and sometimes expensive) stationery items, for example a specific brand, they do so at their own risk.

In year 3 and 4, students will no longer require take home bags. However, if you feel your child needs it to help them with organisation, they are free to use it.

iPads

No doubt you will have questions about the use of iPads in year 3/4. At the beginning of the new school year, iPads can be kept and charged at school per parent request. You will also receive a list of apps that your child will need. You will receive most of this information at the Parent Information Night, which will be held on Wednesday 7 February (Week 2)

If you have any queries, do not hesitate to ask.

In Christ,

Goose (Liesel) Smallfield, Emily Gower and Jade Fielke
