2024 Transition visit timetable
Just another friendly reminder about the first 4 days of Foundation for 2024. Students will come to school on their given day from 9am to 2pm. During this visit they will be spending some time exploring the classroom and school in a smaller group. They will start to build friendships with students and we as teachers will have time to do some entry assessment to enable us to plan lessons that suit their needs and capabilities.
They will need to be in their school uniform for their designated day. They will need:
-school hat-drink bottle-munch and crunch (fruit or veg snack in separate container)
-recess-lunch -school bag

Stationary
In order to help your child settle into their school year we would appreciate if all their school books could be covered and named ready for the first day of Foundation 2024. In this email, we have included name labels, which are to be placed at the top right of each book, and subject labels that are to be placed in the bottom right-hand corner of each book. Please ensure labels are stuck down with clear contact as if only glued they end up falling off.
If books are labelled this way, they are easy for children to find in the classroom. The children may wish to colour in the pictures on the labels.
Below is a list of books and the subjects they are used for as well as how we would like you to label.
Please bring all of these books and stationery to school when they come for their first small visit on either the 29/1/24, 30/1/24, 31/1/24 or 1/2/24. There will be boxes for students to place their stationery and books in to help.
