Math is Magic sessions

Mrs Anderson is holding a ‘Math is Magic’ (help) session on Monday afternoons in the Resource Centre from 3:30pm – 4:30pm for any Year 7 – 10 students who wish to attend.

These sessions will commence on Monday 12 February. If you're planning to attend, please email Mrs Anderson - joanderson@moamagrammar.nsw.deu.au.

Explorers

What is the impact of Jesus on our world? This will be explored by Secondary students during Monday lunchtimes this term in the Resource Centre (RC3). Students will watch and discuss animations or documentaries about historical and current day heroes of the faith as we prepare for Easter. To kick-start this fascinating series, this week we explored the life of John Newton – slave trader turned anti-slave advocate and song-writer of “Amazing Grace”.

Year 7

Science

Recently, our Year 7 students considered science in the kitchen. They developed the skills to ensure safety of self and others, as well as observation skills. They had great fun observing the properties of bubbles and certainly got competitive when challenged to blow the biggest bubble in the class!

Year 8

Science

Students are currently learning about cells organelles and their functions. This week, they used play dough to design a cell.
