Principals' Report

Dear Parents and Carers,
I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely acknowledge the outstanding work of Kingston Out of Hours Care, who will conclude their service with us tomorrow afternoon. Kingston has provided dedicated and professional care to our families for many years, and I have been consistently impressed with the high standard of service and genuine care they have shown. On behalf of our school community, I extend our heartfelt thanks and best wishes to all Kingston staff—both administrative and on-site—as they move into the next chapter.
As shared in previous newsletters this term, MACSEYE will be taking over our Out of Hours Care program from the first day of Term 3. We are pleased to confirm that Tracey Anderton will continue in her role as Program Director, with several other familiar faces also transitioning to our new provider. I am confident that this change will be a smooth and positive one for all families, and I look forward to seeing the continued growth and support of this important service under MACSEYE.
P & F Trivia Night
What a fun evening it was last Friday in the Hall where we held the P & F Trivia Night. There was keen competition between tables with the overall winners being "Tropic Like It's Hot.'
My thanks to the P& F Committee for their organisation of this fun event for our parent community. Special thanks to the St. Patrick's Staff who attended and came a credible 4th overall!
End of Term 2
Just a reminder that tomorrow is the end of Term 2. We will be assembling on the blue basketball court at 12:15pm with a dismissal time of 12:30pm. School will resume for Term 3 on Monday 21st July, 2025.

CDFpay - new initiative for school fees
CDFpay school fees feature coming soon – Term 3 pilot with select families
We are excited to share that our school will be helping pilot a new school fee management feature in the CDFpay app from next term - HERE. While this is something we hope to be able to roll out to all families next year, the Term 3 pilot will be limited to select families. We will share further details from the start of next term about when the new feature will be available in the CDFpay app and what to expect if you see the new ‘Schoolfees’ tile on the CDFpay home page. We encourage all families to continue making fee payments using existing payment channels in the meantime.
We look forward to providing you with a further update soon!
Drew Lane Concert
On Monday we had an exciting Concert from Drew Lane. All year levels performed a song with the entire school joining in. The final song was our new school song written by Drew. I would like to thank Drew for his engaging style and his inclusive teaching practice. My particular thanks to the parents who were such good sports in dancing along with, and in front of the students!
Grandparents Morning and Mass
On Tuesday 29th July we will be holding our annual Grandparents Day Mass and classroom visits. We have changed the format based on feedback from last year so we will be trialling a later start to ease the pressure of arriving early and being too rushed to visit classrooms.
10:00am - 11:00am - Grandparents to visit classrooms to see the students in action.
11:00am - 11:50am - Morning Tea in the hall for Grandparents
(Featuring a presentation from the Senior and Junior school choirs)
12:00pm - 1:00pm - Whole School Grandparents Day Mass in the Church
